Multi-physics characterisation

Surfaces properties are absolutely critical for several industrial applications like adhesive bonding assemblies, paint, surface treatment or corrosion study.

The understanding of physical and chemical surface phenomena allows us to optimise these processes.

Physico-chemical analysis

Cross-testing to understand polymers

Understanding the phenomenology of polymers requires numerous cross-tests. Technacol has a wide range of physical and chemical characterisation capabilities.

Measure surface energy

Quantify surfaces

Measure surface energy

Our approach consist in studying the surface wettability with a goniometer to record the surface energy. These measures can be carry out on representative samples in our laboratory or on a real part, on the field thanks to reactive inks.

From rheology to polymer chemistry

From rheology to polymer chemistry

A range of characterisation solutions

For example, we are able to combine rheological analyses (mechanics of viscoelastic bodies), calorimetric analyses with infrared spectroscopic analyses of the chemical structure of polymers.

A multi-physics approach

Understanding your polymers to make them more reliable

This multiphysics approach allows us to study the functioning of adhesives, to understand the physical properties of a polymer or to diagnose a cause of ageing. Please contact us for more information.
